The individual heroics are an official ushering out of the previous generation of stars and replacing with Brunson, Maxey, Banchero, SGA, Edwards.

I’m not leaving out Jokic, he’s a class to himself. I’m curious to see what happens with Cleveland after Mitchell has reasserted himself as a ball dominant scorer. I don’t think they’ll be as good as a team, esp against Boston.
It’s funny how quickly the torch seemed to have been passed from the LeBron, Curry, and Durant generation to the players mentioned above (although I’d definitely add Doncic and Haliburton) It almost seems like the “big man” centric generation of AD, Giannis, Embiid, KAT, and Jokic (aka winners of all the MVPs since 2020) have ceded the stage.

Nuggets. Sheesh.

The Nuggets straight up got their asses kicked by the TWolves last night. And that was without Gobbert. Can’t remember the last time I saw a defending champion look so bad. Embarrassing.

I thoroughly enjoyed TWolves dominating the game. I hope the Nuggets get swept.

Nuggets/Wolves

If you don’t like this series, you’re not a basketball fan.

The right player got the MVP this year. Jokic is just amazing. He loved going at Gobert.

I don’t like it because the games are on so late! I thoroughly enjoyed watching the nuggets this past weekend though.

Knicks are playing some serious hard man ball right now.

Watching Jokic play is like watching Froome ride. Gets it done. But so ugly.

I don’t understand how 90% of those shots go in. Just does some awkward spin and flips it up like my 5 year old.

Totally disagree. One of my favorite players to watch. He just skewered the reigning DPOY. One of the best offensive players in history. Top five before he’s done if not already.

Jokic joined Chris Paul as the only players in @nbahistory with 40 points, 10 assists & 0 turnovers in the postseason.

YES! Double Double - 40 and 13 against the D player of the year.

I’m highly subjective on this, as I grew up in the Dr J, Magic, MJ era. Smooth, finesse, exciting, electrifying, and beautiful to watch. Opposite of the joker.

Jokic is a hybrid of Magic and Olajuwon minus the “D” of the latter and with an ability to hit the three that Magic lacked. Must see TV in my book.
